Through 50 hand sculpted face poses and a set of controls to tweak your motion capture you can really bring your facial poses to life. It is within the Face Mojo plugin that the magic really happens though. Through the FBX file format you can easily take the motion capture data from your iOS device into Daz Studio. With just an iOS device that has a TrueDepth front-facing camera and one of the supported Apple ARKit Apps you can capture the motion of your face and translate it directly to your 3D character. I think I'm getting too old to learn new tricks. This is a cracking plugin to get us started. Sometimes I can find options that don't seem to be there the next time I look for them. I had a lot of adventures last night, I got it set so that it only rendered part of my image, I got a white box that appeared on the screen that I couldn't get rid of, I got in full screen mode and couldn't get out, etc. I did manage to get the program itself installed in my Programs folder on drive D:, but it's still saving everything in my Users folder. One other question, where do I change where Daz stores my renders, I don't want them in my C: drive. I'm assuming that If I create a texture and place it in the correct folder it will show up as an option someplace in the program.

I've done my own textures for Poser for years, and I know where to find everything, but I can't seem to find the texture files for Daz. I'd also like to know if there are templates available some place? I'm actually looking for the physical image files for the textures. You shoot a mime, do you need a silencer? The few things that I've done look very nice, a quite different look then Poser.īut I can't imagine doing any animation (my main thing) at the speed that it runs, and I only have a figure in the scene, no set or props to render.

It's hard going from a program that you know to one that you don't. Is there something that I need to configure to get it to run at a reasonable speed? When I work in Poser things are almost instantaneous, no lag, I can render 300 frames of animation at full HD in a matter of minutes. I have a very fast computer, i7 3.6 GHz, processor, Nvidia 680 video card, 32 Gigs of ram, Solid State Hard drive, liquid cooled processor etc. When I drag something there is a really big delay before it moves, everything feels really laggy. The thing is that Daz Studio really runs painfully slow?

Normally I use Poser Pro 2014, and I've used Poser since version 3. I'll work my way through the tutorials, when I get done just messing around with it.

I'm finding that it runs really slow, now I admit I don't know what I'm doing, it's like I'm starting all over. I haven't used Daz Studio in a long time, but I thought that I'd give the new version a try.
